Abstract: A pot culture experiment was conducted in Kharif, 2017 in the glass house of College of Agriculture, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. The experiment consisted of 2 levels of modes of application, 2 levels of source of ZnO nanoparticles and 4 levels of concentration was laid out in 3 Factorial experiments in Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications. The experiment shows that application of ZnO nanoparticles can significantly improve growth, yield attributes and yield of rice significantly. Foliar application of 50 ppm of nano ZnO was found to be the best treatment for improving yield of rice.
