Application of nanotechnology in food and feed: A review

Abstract: Nanotechnology has become a buzz word among the scientific community in recent years. Nanotechnology exhibits great potential for exploitation in the food industry. It is an enabling technology that has the potential to revolutionize the food industry. Nanotechnology is having an impact on several aspects of food science, from how food is grown to how it is packaged. The prediction is that nanotechnology will transform the entire food and feed industry, changing the way food is produced, processed, packaged, transported, and consumed. This review paper deals with the potential application of nanotechnology in food and feed industry.
