Impact of quality of ground water irrigation on soil health in bilara tehsil of Jodhpur

Abstract: The present investigation “Impact of quality of ground water irrigation on soil health in Biara tehsil of Jodhpur†was undertaken to assess the quality of ground water from respective irrigated fields were collected. Based on EC, SAR and RSC ground waters were classified into three categories viz: saline (15%), high SAR saline (70%) and marginally alkali (15%) and it was found that majority of ground waters of the studied area are not suitable for irrigation of crops.
