Effect of population density of Kerria lacca Kerr. on Rangeeni lac production

Abstract: A field trial was conducted on baisakhi production of Cajanus cajan with different population densities of lac insect during May 2018 to May 2019. The results revealed that the lac insect population density of 40 insects per 2.5cm2 has highest 100 lac cell weight (3.12g) and raw lac yield (446g) per plant.
