Abstract: The In-vitro evaluation acetone extract of medicinal plants showed significant effect on inhibition zone. Among the nine medicinal plants extracts, Ocimum tenuiflorum recorded maximum zone of inhibition against Bacillus sp., Asparagus officinalis against Staphylococcus sp. and Phyllanthus emblica against Streptococcus sp., respectively in the concentrations 2, 4 and 6 per cent on 24 and 48 hours of observation for the 10-4 and 10-6 dilutions compared to control.
